Are there any default generic engines that could be used for rate calculations in D365 F&O? Currently, the rates are manually captured; I am looking for the best approach to automate this.

There are out-of-the-box rate engines available:

Rate

Generic

Mileage

Transit

Zone

Freight bill type

Hi,

For the engines listed by Laurens, you will need to configure them. In case you have a different requirement than supported by the engines, then you can add engines with a development effort.

Can you explain what exactly you mean by "Currently, the rates are manually captured; I am looking for the best approach to automate this."?
