cashier require supervisor authority if an item exceeds some amount

HI GREAT PEOPLE,

Am trying t prevent cashiers from selling a product that exceeds a certain amount without authority from a supervisor, how can i achieve this? any hook or trigger i dont know

I appreciate any help that comes through

    Are you talking about Price or Quantity? If it's high-value items over a certain Price you want controlled, if you enter a number right below the actual price in the "Upper Bound" field on the Item/Pricing tab for all of those items, RMS will warn the cashier but not stop them from selling it nor require an override, which I feel is a bit lacking since the field is there.

    There is a Cashier Price Control function in the Retail Realm Utilities that does what you want plus more.
