    Hi ZeeshanGhause,

Weren't those configurations overridden? You mentioned that the production environment has the correct Site Map. I would have thought that using the production environment Site Map would be a big improvement over your current development environment Site Map. You can always add additional entities to this Site Map if needed.

According to Microsoft we can take 28 days backup for production and 7 days for sandbox

    i just restored from 20 Oct 2020 19:00 PM
and still seeing the same issue

why i am not going for import and export form Prod to Sand is because other developer has done some configuration for entity to make it visible under setting area or any other area

    Hi ZeeshanGhause,

The sandbox backup probably did not go back far enough. Take the approach of exporting the production Site Map and importing it into your development environment.

    Hi ZeeshanGhause,

That will resolve the Site Map issue but you will lose any changes that occurred after the sandbox backup.

  • RE: Sitemap got unexpected changes

Thanks what if i restore the sandbox backup prior than sitemap issue what will happen?

    Hi Zeeshan,

There will be no impact to your other customisations and configurations assuming that you do not include them in your solution.

This article explains how to export the Site Map without including other components.

  • RE: Sitemap got unexpected changes

we have two instance sandbox and production

sandbox has incorrect sitemap and there are two developer team working on sandbox

    production has correct sitemap

what if i export sitemap from production and import it into sandbox then what can go wrong?

does it will revoke my customization and configuration such as JS, Workflow, Plugin Entities and records?

what if i restore the sandbox backup what will happen?

    Hi ZeeshanGhause,

If you have another instance with the correct Site Map then export the Site Map from that instance and import it into the instance with the incorrect Site Map.
