Error "Report as finished" on a batch/production order

Hi, We have batch orders in our D365SCM most of them can be reported as finished but on some we get the following when we mark them as /Report as finished/

The only work which should be created is /Packing/ work with a resource (Type machine) assigned.

No work for the production order can be found in the work creation history log

Any suggestions where this comes from and what could be wrong?

I think you can check the event logs for some additional messages that related to this issue.
