In the Personnel Management module, under Analytics tab, in the People By Department report, the Assignment End Date is not updating correctly.

I assume that you changed the Assignment end date recently from Never (which is the equivalent of 12/31/2054) to 15/03/2020. While the change will reflect under the Employee information, the Analytics are based on Power BI reporting, hence it will depend on how the refresh has been set up. You changed the employment for this worker, but the report is showing information from the position assignment. Can you check if the position assignment was also ended?

This issue might be a matter of timing. By default, MS Power BI reports are refreshed every four hours, according to the schedule of the Deploy measurement batch job.
You can start and update the batch job in System administration > Links > Batch jobs > Batch jobs.

Hi Alina,
Yes, I changed the Assignment end date couple of minute before the run the analytics report. At present after more then 24 hours from the change of the Assignment end date, in the analytics report neither the Assignment start date is appearing nor the Assignment end date.

Thank you for the information, is the Assignment end date fetching from position end date? the Assignment start date is appearing from the Employee --> employment details.
I had checked the Positions Retirement date is not updated. Now the issue is Assignment start date and end date are not appearing. It seems some issue with Power BI.
Do guide me if any other information you have, it would be helpful.

Thank you for the information. As suggested by you I have manually run the batch job, but the issue is the Assignment start date and end date are not appearing for the employee provided in my screen print.
But the information is worth, appreciate your support. I will let you know once the reported issue is resolved.
I'm a bit lost here. Note that there is a difference between employments and positions. Both have effective dates.
Can you share a screenshot of the position assignment and the current end date?
If I understand correctly, the problem now is not that the date is not updated correctly, but that this employee does not have the Assignment start date and Assignment end date in analytic report, right? If yes, please check if the position for this employee is active or past. Only active assignment can be show in this report. Also. i notice he is an exited employee.
You have set up end date not from the Power BI application so eventhough end date has been changed there is reflection of it only under employee information.
