We have a managed solution in which a business rule was developed. After few days, we deleted this business rule from default solution. However, the rule is still getting applied when we perform related operations.
Can anyone help to identify what we are missing?

Can you not just deactivate the Business Rule via the Form?
try to look for the BR in the database.The database has multiple copies for same record(each copy for each solution in which the BR is added and one for default solution).
The BR may trigger due to this.
Don't delete the BR from DB if found in DB.

i dont think you will be able to remove business rule from default customization if this is required by a managed solution in that environment.
hence - are you sure the business rule doesnt exist in any other solution? or has been deleted?
did you check this from form editor?
