Business rule on CRM fails to select value from the list

Hi all,

I have a BR (business rule) in my opportunity entity and when I try to use "Set field value" and set the value of field a, as the sum of field b and c as following:

opp-field-value-problem.png

I never get a drop down in the value for the second field. It does not matter really which fields we choose to calculate the sum of the other two fields. As long as we use formula we can not pick the second field from a dropdown.

Can someone please try to reproduce this on their own CRM instance and let me know if this is D365 bug or we do something wrong?

We are using Dynamics 365 online version 9.0.2.

Thanks

Looks like I can't do it either (neither in Chrome, nor in Edge). You might want to contact MS support.

    Seems like a bug.

When you change the Type to Field in the control before last, the last control should change from Value to Field.

It works for me in 8.2 and 9.0.2.54 properly.

Try changing the Type field back and forth from Field to Value and back to Field and see if the last control changes.

Not sure which MS data center you are on, but if this doesn't work, you would probably have to contact MS.

    Hope this helps.

For my trial instance I am also able to see the list , not sure may be you may try with different entity , login with different user , different browser , different machine as well to troubleshoot the root cause.

If its does not help raise the ticket to MS.

Thanks all for the responses, I actually tried this on a Canadian Datacenter as well as an Indian one. In either case I had no success. I just want to emphasize that this only happens for the opportunity entity not all (for Lead and account it works seamlessly)
