Production order error (BOM / formula)

I am following this link to test the production order for item with formula.

https://financefunction.tech/2018/06/07/how-to-set-up-standard-costs-for-direct-materials-in-dynamics-365-for-finance-and-operations/

However, when I create a new production order and select the item number (Finish goods), I get an error.

I've already create a formula, which is approved and activated, and link it to the item.

Hence, the production type has been setup as Formula.

Can anyone advice on this case?

Hi STP,

In case you have a formula, you should not use the button New production order, but New batch order. That will solve the error message.
