Product version error in Fixed Assets Module

Dear All,

When I trying to install Fixed Assets module in Dynamics GP 2016 R2 It occur product version error and I check GP_LoginErros_logs file It showing below detail:

Product Name: Fixed Assets Database Version: 140524 Client Version: 160802
Product Name: Analytical Accounting Database Version: 9030 Client Version: 160705
Product Name: Grant Management Database Version: 90116 Client Version: 160552
Product Name: Fixed Assets Database Version: 140524 Client Version: 160802
Product Name: Analytical Accounting Database Version: 9030 Client Version: 160705
Product Name: Grant Management Database Version: 90116 Client Version: 160552

Any help would be appreciated.

    When you create the package file make sure you select to include Fixed Assets. In this case GP is at GP 2016 R2 but FA is still back at GP 2015.

    Hey Richard,

    I exactly did same as you are saying I but problem not fixed GP is not working with fixed asset module

    Do you use Fixed Assets? If not, remove Fixed Assets from your SET file. Paste in the contents of your DYNAMICS.SET from both the server and workstation so I can see what is going on. It is possible you did not include it on the server when you did the upgrade but did include it on the workstation. If you add Fixed Assets on the server and launch GP Utilities it will upgrade FA.

    We did not use FA before. but now we are going to start working on FA. Further there is same issue i am facing on server and client.

    OK, so what happened was GP on the server was installed without fixed assets. The simple fix is to go to Programs and Features on the server, highlight MS Dynamics GP 2016 and choose Change. Then add Fixed Assets and then launch GP Utilities. It will say a previous version has been found. Click next to upgrade DYNAMICS and company databases and then you should be able to launch GP with no issues. Do you have a reseller who can help with this? It seems like you are on your own with this upgrade.

    After added FA on server and when I go to run utilities it is occur same product error:

    Failure encountered ON 05/28/2020 at 8:17:01 PM.  Error:  Product 309 does not support upgrading from version 14.0.524.

    I had received notification which said this:

    "And GP has been successfully upgrade with consultant."

    I thought this meant you brought in a consultant who resolved the issue. If the issue remains please paste the contents of your DYNAMICS.SET file from the server and workstation into this thread. This will tell us what is actually installed.
