Sending Email using Dynamics CRM WebAPI

We are using Dynamics CRM 8.2.10 and trying to perform WebAPI calls to send email action on email entity records.


/api/data/v8.2/emails(s1264c44-0046-e711-80f8-5061f38se571)/Microsoft.Dynamics.CRM.SendEmail

For some reason, the email is not going through. Again we are using On-premise for this exercise and unfortunately, we do not have Server-side Synchronization.

Can anyone assist with whether any infrastructure needs to have minimum configuration for this to have? I believe either Email Router or SSA will work, but if any other factor we should verify.

Hi Nick,

You need to first identify if your email sync is working fine or not by sending the email manually, if that works fine then you can investiogate more on web api side.
