IN a report when i make some changes and compile it gives error - You do not have permissions to modify records in the
Vendor Ledger Entry table . In all other reports i am able to make changes.

The report has special permissions on a Table.
See property "Permissions" of the Report.
Your license does not allow to modify records in that table.
That's the reason why you are not allowed to amend the report.
