We're offering a free trial of our SaaS solution and would like to prevent someone from using a personal email address when filling out the web form. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance for any advice!
Hi Anthony,
You can do custom validation at formSubmit event by Marketing Form API:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/developer/marketing-form-client-side-extensibility#examples
Could you share me difference between personal email address and business email address?
As per my understanding, if personal mailbox looks like free public mailbox format: xxx@gmail.com, xxx@outlookc.com, xxx@yahoo.com,
then we could create an array to restrict specific domains value and prevent submission.(If business mailbox is something likes xxx@clofly.com or xxx@mao.org)
Regards,
Clofly
Thanks Clofly! Yes, a personal mailbox are from domains like @gmail.com, @Yahoo.com, etc. We'd want to make sure the email address was NOT from one of these domains before we submitted the record to Dynamics.
