5Hi All,
I am filtering a lookup field by specifying the criteria based on which the records needs to be filtered in a public view which is set to the lookup field as the default view. Now, when I click search on the lookup field it only displays the filtered records in the result. But when I search the name of a record which does not satisfy the filter criteria in the search box of the lookup, then it still displays that record and I am able to set that records to the lookup field. There is no JavaScript over-writing this functionality and this is the sole filtering happening in that lookup field. Could anyone get any idea about the root of this issue?
