Hi all. Is there a limit of how many security roles can be assigned to a team before performance may be affected?
We are currently running into a maintenance nightmare due to our system (with several hundred custom entities) being deployed at a few dozen instances and needs of vastly different teams at each instance.
I am considering breaking apart security into smaller "chunks" of roles that can then be used to more quickly build these custom teams, but that may mean a team may have a few dozen roles assigned to it. Worried about performance.

There is no limit on security roles. In terms of performance, just make sure that your specific server has enough space and or a load balancer.
With our security roles, I ended up breaking them out by roles of the company, and transitioned it to the roles within the CRM Environment. I have created multiple roles with no performance issues.

There is no such limit, I dont think so that it might have performance related issues.
Although if you have 'shared' a lot records that might affect system performance.
