Is there any method to auto generate the item codes in SO...?
When i make a new item with the code 1000 and the next one should come automatically 1001.

Thanks for your quick reply.I'm trying to download RMS Cumulative Update 5 from Partner Source using IE, but the download is not starting,i reset the Active X control settings.But still i couldn't .
This feature was added in CU5. You can setup the options in SO Manager -> File -> Configuration -> Item tab.
You will need to restart SO Manager after making any changes.
