Add marketing form field from account

Hi all,

I want to create a new marketing form field that is customer id. But customer id is only in account. I find it under lead mapping but not contact mapping.Is it possible to create this field anyway? (Seen that there are some fields from account anyway). Is there a work around?

Hi Filippa,

The customer ID in Lead entity you mentioned is a field with “Customer” data type.

So if you’d like to create a such form field mapping with Contact entity, you’d create a custom field, whose data type is Customer, in Contact entity first.

After saving the field, it can be found in the mapping list when you create a lookup form field.
