Hi all
A client of mine is very interested in post corrections using periodic journals. However, users have remeber to execute these batches every period in order to actually post.
Since the G/L accounts and distribution are always the same, it would help them a lot if this proces could be automated via the Job Queue.
My question is: is it possible make a job queue that posts a specific (recurring) journal and how do I set this up?

Apologies I will be using AL as a code reference (on my phone not laptop) but the theory stacks out for NAV2017. Take an object like report 900. This batch posts assembly orders, use sales or purchase if you prefer.
The report uses the assembly header with filters and then passes it to the batch processing mgt. codeunit to do the rest. Theory being you can pass your table with filters and the codeunit does the rest. Your report can then be added to the job queue and that's job done.
