Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

SecLib::AccessCheckEx2 failed

Posted on by 100

Hello,

we have some employees who want to send emails from a queue to customer (like service replies).
We changed the permissions in our CRM Online 9.1.0.4044 and restricted the share permissions of activities to only some users. And so we revoked them on the users who have the problem now. After they told us they need the permission, we created some new role and granted the "share activity permission" to it. After we applied that new role on the business unit team of the employees. The error message that they do not has the "prvShareActivity missing" error message any longer but a error message I do not understand:

{"CallerPrincipal":{"PrincipalId":"bf8dd6fc-7b91-e811-a860-000d3a2afa0f","Type":8,"IsUserPrincipal":true,"IsTeamPrincipal":false,"TypeName":"user"},"OwnerPrincipal":{"PrincipalId":"bf8dd6fc-7b91-e811-a860-000d3a2afa0f","Type":8,"IsUserPrincipal":true,"IsTeamPrincipal":false,"TypeName":"user"},"ObjectId":"a28b32f5-7966-e911-a84c-000d3a2a711c","ObjectTypeCode":4200,"ObjectBusinessUnitId":"1589812f-f527-e611-80de-005056ae0650","OrganizationId":"590e2cd5-484c-4ec1-8085-0bf259a4db08","EntityName":"activitypointer","EntityOwnershipTypeMask":1,"RightsToCheck":"ReadAccess","RoleAccessRights":"None","PoaAccessRights":"None","HsmAccessRights":"None","Messages":["PrincipalHasOwnerPrincipalWithAtLeastBasicPrivilegeDepth = True","Caller wants maximum rights to be granted.","PrincipalHasOwnerPrincipalWithAtLeastBasicPrivilegeDepth = True","Caller wants maximum rights to be granted.","PrincipalHasOwnerPrincipalWithAtLeastBasicPrivilegeDepth = False","EntityUserGroupRights = None","MinimumDepthRequired = Global","GrantedRights = ReadAccess","PrincipalHasOwnerPrincipalWithAtLeastBasicPrivilegeDepth = False","EntityUserGroupRights = None","MinimumDepthRequired = Local","GrantedRights = None","SecLib::AccessCheckEx2 failed. Owner Data: roleCount=4, privilegeCount=573, accessMode=0; Principal Data: roleCount=4, privilegeCount=573, accessMode=0"]}

Can you tell me what's going wrong here?

Best,

Robin

    This error is solved too when I apply the role directly to the user and not to his business unit team.
