We would like to suppress account group zero totals on the financial statements. We are not using Management Reporter. Can this be done with Advanced Financials?

Hi,
When I first saw this posted I checked the options on the report window and you are 100 percent correct in that it will suppress the individual accounts, but not the entire section. Personally, I do not know of a way to suppress the section if the section balance is zero. You can do it in FRx, but I do not know of a way to do it in AFA. If you need that kind of flexibility, you will need to switch over to a different financial reporting tool. Management Reporter is the tool of choice for Dynamics GP.
Not the answer you wanted, but the answer nonetheless.
Kind regards,
Leslie
That will suppress an individual account, however if all the accounts in a group are all zero balance the group total prints with a zero total ie Total Prepaid Expenses, Total Work in Process... where the individual accounts in these groups do not have a balance
Hi ---
When you generate a financial statement, and set the parameters for that statement by going to: Reports > Financials > Financial Statements > (Choose Report) > Then click 'Modify' ---- you are then on the 'Report Options' window. In that Report Options window you can choose to 'Include' zero balance accounts. If you do not check it, then zero balance accounts will automatically be excluded.
Hope that helps.
