Status reason custom choices are not getting updated on Opportunity close quick create form.

Hello everyone,

I added a few custom choices for "Won and Lost" status in the Status Reason column of the opportunity table, and also added those choices in the Status Reason of Opportunity Close table.

Now, when i am closing the opportunity as Won or Lost, the newly added choice values are not visible in the Opportunity close quick create form, however those changes are reflected on the normal default dialog which appears while closing the opportunity.

Below are the images of Quick create form that doesn't show the new choices., and next image is of the default dialog with old and new choice values.

Tried very much to figure out the problem, but no luck yet.

Any suggestions what mistake i have done, and how to rectify that..

    Thank you Amit, i saw that the values are mismatched. I corrected them, it's working now.

    Please refer below image and check on which field you have added the custom options. make sure option set value should be same in both opportunity as well as opportunity close entity.

    Hi Maneesh,

    As shown in the official document, the new status reason should be added in the Status Reason in Opportunity entity manually.

    Customize the Opportunity Close form in Dynamics 365 Sales | Microsoft Learn

    So go to Advanced Settings> Customizations> Customize the System>Entity>Opportunity>Field.

    Double-click the “StatusCode”.

    Add the new status reason in the corresponding status.
