Can column grouping and column totals can be done through code

Hi all!

I know that in grids, we could do the column grouping and view column totals in d365FO by personalizing the grid view.

I am wondering whether the same is achievable through code and can be deployed along with the package to the customer so that the customer doesn't have to personalize their grid to view groupings and totals.

Appreciate your inputs on it. Thanks in advance

you can explore the possibility of exporting / importing the personalization if it fits your requirement.

Hi John,

You can't achieve it via coding. It is a personalization option only. As mentioned by Anitha, you can distribute the personalizations as saved views.
