I want to understand the list of activities to be done prior or during the migration from Ax4.0 to D365.

Hi Lokesh,
You posted the question already 4 weeks ago. There is no direct upgrade tooling available to move from AX 4 to Dynamics 365. Do you still need help? If so, are you considering a data upgrade, code upgrade or both?
