How to make entire line as static

Hello All,

I have an issue in Job Planning Lines, we have many items in Job planning lines, but if we try to change the Type from GL/ Account to item, or item to Recourse, then there should not happen any change in other columns. right now No column is full changed as blank and some other columns also values changing.

how can we make it as static.

    Hi,

    This is exactly the way the system should behave, when you are changing the type, the other values will go blank.

    It is a standard procedure.

    What is need of making it static?

    Actually while making the project, we dont know item no at that point of time, so we fill all the other details and once we get the item and trying to change. it will change all the data.

    Pls let me know how we can crack it

    You can not crack this without doing customization.

    But my first suggestion would be to see if you can do some changes in the way you register the projects originally so you find or create the actual item that you will use in your project.
