Marketing segments size is not correct

Hi,

Marketing segment is not showing the correct number of members im using the same query on Advance find it shows me 500 contacts but when i design the same query on segment it just show me 237 records

Hello Fariha,

it would be great if you could share a bit more information on segment and advanced query in order to identify any potential discrepancies.

Segments and dynamic lists will return the same audience if the queries are indeed the same.

Hi Chritian Ablen,

I want those contacts in my segment, with whom the orders are associated and the product line "valid to" date will expire in 35 days

in advance find I'm using the query : Filter product lines where condition attribute is Valid to , value = 35, Operator ="Next x days".

In segments query there is no operator for "Next x days" condition so I'm using this

but its not showing me the exact count. and members in segment. :(

Hi @Fariha Asmat,

Is your Valid To field of type Date or Date and Time ?

What I would do to verify that the segment and advanced find is returning the same count is rather than use next 35 days, put the actual end date (end of October or so).

Then leave it for an hour or so and then compare the count. If they match, we know it's the way the two methods of adding 35 days have been implemented differently in the 2 places and that it's not a data issue.

My valid to field is of Date and Time,

I tried by using the exact date then it gives me the same count, but my requirement is i need dynamic segment and i cannot hard code the date because i want those records whose valid to will expire in next 35 days, i want them to add in my segment automatically when they fall under this condition.

Hi @Fariha Asmat,

That's fine, I get that.

The fact the two returned the same number with a hardcover date means the rest of your queries are fine and it's probably either the first day or the last day in the range that your segment is not counting.

So my guess is that you would have to adjust to either 34 or 36..

Or make sure it's also counting today.

To verify this, can you find the ValidUntil date for the records that are missing? I recon they will all be on the same day.

I'm not getting the correct count so I decided to update the marketing module (2019 wave 2 ) and after updating I'm getting another issue which i have reported in this thread.
