Hello,

I'm getting this error message when trying to complete this picking work.  There are no outstanding orders, transactions for this item.  Can someone please help me complete this step?

    Woah!  Funny how InfoLogs from different places reveal more layers of info.  LP in more than one location of the same warehouse is a big no-no, so it looks like this might be the underlying issue.  There are all sorts of controls to prevent that from happening, so there might be some code involved that inadvertently bypassed these controls; may be something to look into, especially if Microsoft becomes involved.

    The idea is to address the system`s objections by removing what it sees as obstructions, layer by layer.  Is there anyway to get rid of the other LPs (move the content to 2769738-1 and -2)?  Try to get to a state where you have only one LP 00000002769738 located on the user location.

    From there:
    - Try to complete the work (assess InfoLog);
    - If unsuccessful, try to cancel the work (assess InfoLog);
    - If inventory on User location still seems to be the issue, try adjusting using the previously explained processetc.

    You are almost there.

    Hi Danny,

    I was so hopeful that your solution was going to be the answer to my problems but alas, I was interrupted with another infolog message.  It appears the licence plate I'm trying to adjust is on not one but 3 user locations.  Any other solutions to resolve?  I've contacted Microsoft in the meantime to see if they can resolve the issue.

    Hi Jaclyn,
    Looks like it might have to be resolved with Microsoft ticket.

    If you are a fighter and dont want to let the "system"  get one over you, I suggest you try the following in a copy of this database. I would not suggest doing it in Prod unless you have proven it in a copy of Production.  I have done the following several times before the clean-up Cancel was added.

    1) Create a new temporary Location profile for Users;
    1.5) Force log-out any Workers sessions (work user sessions).
    2) In Warehouse Management parameter, temporarily change the Location profile for Warehouse worker to that new Loc Profile
    3) Since the location is no longer a User location, go to that troublesome Location (Kionnidis) and adjust the quantity for the exact inventory dimensions on the InfoLog by +.062
    4) Revert the Location profile on Warehouse management parameter to its previous value
    5) Try to complete the work (or cancel).
    6) Hopefully it will clear, if not the new InfoLog will let you just how worse you made it and you know a little more for a second attempt (because you are a fighter!)

    Much much better and safer to do in a Prod copy.

    Hi Laurens,

    I've attempted to cancel the work and I receive this error message:

    Came here to make the same 'Cancel work' suggestion.

    Assuming this does not normally happen to your picking Work, use any method you can to kill the work (which these days helpfully can be done with the Cancel work function). Perhaps delete the Sales order line too for good measure. Then you should be able to create a new sales order line and release it; if you still want to put it through warehouse processes. Or you could just Pick it directly to the Sales order line.

    Hello Jaclyn,

    Thanks for sharing. Could you try to cancel the work with the 'Cancel work' feature?

    Best regards,

    Hi Laurens,

    Only this sales order with status of physically reserved.  The reservation amount is 41.88 and the work amount is 41.88.

    I've increased the sales order by 1 and I still get the same error.

    Any other sugestions?

    Hi Jaclyn,
    I would look at the Sales Order line for the item mentioned in the InfoLog and look at the inventory transactions:
    How many with status On Order and Physical Reserved?
    Does that compare to the work quantity? Are we short?
    Can you increase it by 1 with the Delivery Remainder and try again?

    Hi Laurens,

    I can't move any of the stock because it's locked to the picking work.  I can't process the picking work any further because of the error message.  This is where the picking work is completed too.

    Hello Jaclyn,

    Could you move the stock back from the user location to the pick location?
    After completing the movement, please adjust the stock and try picking the order again.

    Best regards,
    Laurens van der Tang
