I'm new to GP. I would like to add a unique text string to each employee's user-defined 1 field in Employee Additional Information Maintenance window. The GP Human Resources manual that I found didn't address importing.
In other programs, I'd export a set of base data (user ID, import ID and the field I wished to add) then add the data into the desired column and import.
Can I do this in GP? Can you point in the direction to the directions or tell me how?
