Hi all!
We have worked hard on improving our data quality and managed to decrease our newsletter hard bounces significantly.
However, when we sent out our latest newsletter (February 7th) we suddenly saw a large increase of hard bounces.
Most of the hard bounces seem to be either:
But it seems unlikely that so many would suddenly have this bounce reason (feels a little "out of nowhere").
I am wondering if there might be some other explanation as to why this happened? Has anyone experienced this before?
Thanks in advance! //Maria
Hi MsMariaJo,
This is the method provided in the official documentation:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/fix-high-bounce-rate
About how to clean automatically:
In addition, email authentication issues can lead to hard bounced emails.
Multiple email authentication protocols can be implemented to help prevent these bounces, such as DKIM, SPF, and DMARC.
We are experiencing a similar issue. On 30th of Jan, we sent out an email that generated 160 hard bounces / 96 soft bounces. On 9th of Feb, we approached the same segment and got 1476 hard bounces / 106 soft bounces. It does seem suspicious that this data set has degraded so quickly as it has never happened before. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
