Hi,

I am getting access denied error message while login to Microsoft Nav from yesterday onwards (06-Jul-2013). Below is the screenshot of the error message. If we change the SQL server date to previous dates, it is working fine. But for future dates it is not working. 

We have tried to attach the database to one of the test server and tried to open the NAV application, this also working. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my SQL server? Did anyone come across with this issue before? please help.

    Hi All,

    Thanks for your collective support to resolve this issue. We have identified the cause and resolved the issue.

    The issue happened because of a stored procedure "sp_$ndo$loginproc" in all our NAV Databases. This procedure blocks the users while login to NAV database, I am not sure what is inside this procedure (as this procedure is encrypted) . We just renamed the procedure and our NAV works as usual.

    Hi,

    If you are using a database login rather than windows login, you need to change the date back so that you can login, then go to Tools -> Security -> Database logins inside of NAV and ensure that there are no expiry dates specified against your login

    Look at SQL Server Management, at Security->Logins->/username/->Properties.

    Does this user has marked 'Enforce password expiration' field?
