We have an onboarding system that automatically creates new employee cards in dynamics gp. We had a rehired/returning employee who miskeyed her social, and so the integration process created a new employee ID/card for her. Is there a way to combine the two employee cards/ID's together into one once we get her social corrected on the new employee ID so she only receives one W2 at the end of the year?

I don't think PSTL will be able to merge two employee id from the id1(old) to the id2(new), it will only modify the old id to the new id which is not in PR. I don't think the old thread provided the correct answer.
I would recommend to update the SQL related tables with one employee ID that they want to keep, then reconcile, remove the other employee ID from the maintenance screen.
Any other quick & good suggestions?

The PSTL (Professional Service Tools Library) in GP should have a function to merge Employee in the HR/PR module.
