Hello Community,

Does anyone know if I can embed a Canvas App control using the classical entity form in Dynamics 365 (CRM)? Or does it work on the Unified Interface layout only?

Also, does anyone has any good recommendations on how I could build a solution for uploading document from Dynamics 365 (CRM) to SharePoint (using the Dynamics/SharePoint integration) and passing custom meta data to SharePoint at the same time? I am looking for solution options that don't require any custom codes, if possible.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi..

To embed canvas app control on entity form you have to use classic entity form for now.. but control is rendered in unified interface only.

You will not see control in classic UI.

Embedded canvas apps are only supported with Unified Interface model-driven apps. refer belkow articles for more details-

Regarding the SharePoint integration with additional metadata, you can try the below third party add-ons-
