Trying to understand Record Creation & Update Rules

Hi there,

I know I could just do it with Workflows on my own, but I'd rather like to find out how this functionality is working.

My problem: Whenever I set up and activate some rules, mails are not put into the corresponding queue anymore. 

Maybe simple question: What am I doing wrong? Is it that I have to have special rules for adding all other mails to queue after beginning to set-up any kind of rules?!

Any hints or help is really appreciate here.

    Ok, found good introduction here

    Now only question remains is how to monitor all these queue actions for working properly. But that's another story for a second thread.
