Fixed Reordering Policy

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I have a doubt regarding Fixed Reordering Policy.

For example, Item No- 023455, Inventory-0, Reordering Point- 0, Reordering Quantity- 7, Sales Order Quantity-0

When I run requisition worksheet, system suggest a planning line for quantity 7 for that item. Though reordering point is set to 0, Why does the system suggest planning lines for that item?

    Thanks for the reply.

Qty available for the item is zero.

What is the quantity available for the item, if the qty available is less the 0 it will suggest the quantity.
