Hi,
I was successful in working with NAV2016 Extensions, but I have few questions
Scenario : Add a Boolean field on VendorTable, Vendor Card Page and New CodeUnit ,created an Extension Demo.NAVX file and Published & Installed on another instance
1) Once installation is done I didn't find any object changes on new Nav 2016 Developement instance.(No field is add on vendor table or card).
2) But still I can see the changes are available on client interface.
3) Tried to use debugger by inserting error in code unit(50000), it took me to the code unit but I am unable to find the code unit(50000) from Developer Environment.
Can some one help me how to find out objects changes occurred due to installation of DEMO.NAVX file from NAV 2016 Developer Instance.

you are right. there may be few scenarios where we cannot use extensions and use only standard development.
Hi Mohana,
Issue is I cannot make use of those fields or functions which were added using NAVX.
I tried to add the field on the report and XML port which got created by NAVX file but those are not available any where on the instance. Due to this my Production environment is completely dependent on Developer environment.
Even a minor change like adding field on page or report cannot be done.
Things for developer becomes very complex if he want to view the code from Production.

Thise changes are stored in NAV Apps and Apps metadata (didn't remember exact names) in 20000000xx range.
