I am trying to build a management report book consisting of a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and a few charts. I have the account schedules set up and see that there is an Account Schedule KPI Web Service that I can set up. I added lines for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. I am having these problems with it:
-While I can get the powerbifinance web service to work in both Power BI online and in Excel as an OData data source, I only get the information for the first month of any year I set up in the web source. For example, I only see the January data for this year. I've verified in the raw feed that the data only contains January data. Is there a way to get more complete information in the feed?
-I might be able to build what I need in Power BI Desktop, but I can't get anything to work there. All I get is the error: "The feed's metadata document appears to be invalid." I have verified that I am pasting the same feed and credential info as I do in Power BI online. Any idea how I can get Power BI Desktop to work?
