Professional Tools with Contract Admin

Hi, I just got this query from a contact in the US:

"do you know if there are problems using Prof Tools to change GL accounts in regards to Contract Admin?"

Anyone got any ideas / experiences?

    This should be a non-issue.  Transactional entries reference only the account number index and not the actual GL account number from the GL tables (GL00100 & GL00105).  You could actually just modify the GL accounts in these two tables instead of using the tool if you are comfortable in SQL.

     To be absolutely certain... open a transactional table for Contract Admin in SQL and verify that the GL Account Index is what is being referenced and not the actual GL Account Number.
