missing prvReadAccount privilege error

Posted on by 800

Hello all,

At a customer of mine i've got a weird error when she creates a new record. A user with these privileges:

The following error message is shown when she save's the record:

<Message>Principal user (Id=a55055fd-98d6-4c9e-a2aa-aff68258fa45, type=8) is missing prvReadAccount privilege (Id=886b280c-6396-4d56-a0a3-2c1b0a50ceb0)

The User's CAL is read-write as it should be (it is in dutch):

Good to know is that saturday 4th of februari their CRM Online environment has been updated to the Dynamics 365 environment.

Does anybody has a clue?

Thank you in advance!

Br,

Jacques

Assign all the records of old admin to new admin and check again. Refer this:

    Hi Guido,

You are right. The ID refers to the old Administrator. This old administrator does not have a CRM license anymore. As we speak the old admin will get a CRM license again. Then i'm going to check if the error message will be gone. But even when the error message is gone, it is a strange error.

Make Account Read privilege depth to Organisation level.

It looks like User doesn't have read access to Account. Please assign Read access to Account Entity:
