Hi,

We are using RSO and have conflicting information on the impact of using GPS along side it.

We were told that if GPS is enabled, RSO will base routing off this (except for Start/End Location when that is enabled). If the User has not "pinged" in 30 minutes, it will use last known work over location.

We have also been told that RSO does not use GPS at all and RSO is based off Start/End and Work Order location.

Does anyone have the answer. I have not been able to find the answer on goggle.

Hi Leco,

Having trouble with a screen shot for some reason.

Field Service/Geolocation/Geolocation Settings - Enable to Yes.

Engineers then enable tracking on their smart device for the D365 App.

I am trying to figure out does this directly link to RSO or not.

I'm not sure what you mean by enabling GPS? Could you provide a screenshot to illustrate?
