Could anyone tell me if it is possible to implement a solution with Microsoft Dynamics GP for the agricultural industry? such as inventory control for agricultural products? Like a solution from GP for management of processes for agricultural industry.

I did exactly this in the plug nursery business. We inventoried seeds, plant food, pots, potting soil, etc. We actually created work orders for the crops, keeping them open for 4-10 weeks and applied various amounts of materials. We projected what was expected but recorded actual usage of materials and labor. Gave us EXACT cost of crops. Worked well except for the language issues. Not, not english vs spanish but manufacturing vs growing, router steps, et cetera.
We've implemented in the Ag sector. Generally straight out of the box - with some customisation mainly for the way Ag customrs like to pay (Once a month based on a statement - so they get a Statement/Invoice rather than individual invoices).
Other than that its mainly handled by standard GP. There are other devs, but these are customer specific - integrations to other systems etc.
Are you looking for a solution for an Agricultural supplier / Co-op / or someone within the Ag industry iself? Post the main areas you think there might be issues / the main functional requirements particular to the business, and we can respond.

I do know of other accounting packages that have ag specific modules. We do not sell them but I can at least point you in the direction. Jut let me know.
