Event homepage: remove session & speaker info

Hi everyone

Is there a way to have the:

  • Sessions
  • Session tracks
  • Speakers
  • Pass Information

tabs/areas removed from the homepage of an event?

The event we will be hosting, just requires simple registration with no detailed agenda, sessions or speakers.

Thanks very much.

    Hi partner,

Don't forget to mark the verified answer by clicking Yes.

This will help other users quickly navigate to this theme.

    Thanks.  :)

    Hi reanm,

Have you tried to create a new event and disallow registrants to create their own agenda and not add speakers or passes ?

From back ground Event image of yours, I thought it was elder version of Event page,

currently my version is 9.1.0000.8031 and the removing tabs feature is OOB, the new event page is built with Angular.

Please open developer tools in browser to check whether there some elements that could be identified as Angular component, such as app-root or ng-content.

    > If you don't find these elements, you could upgrade your instance to version as mine. Once it has been updated, the feature shall be available.

     > If you find, you could download latest sample event website to overwrite the original source code,

there is a script "DeployToDynamics365Instance.ps1" which will help us deploy it to Portal,

then check whether issue still exists.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/marketing/developer/event-management-web-application#download-sample-event-website

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/marketing/developer/portal-hosted#deployment

Actually if you host on your own server with lastest sample event website code, the feature shall be available because they're controlled by Marketing application settings(version of Marketing application is also required).

    Hi Clofly

Thanks very much for your response.

Even when I don't have any records in these areas, it still shows on my homepage:

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

    Hi reanm,

What your Event homepage means ?

Is the hosting website below ?

    If so,

we should know that those tabs are controlled by back-end in Marketing application,

thus for front-end hosting, whatever method we took, Portal or Self Server,

we don't need to modify event source code to remove them,

just disactive items in corresponding section,

then the tab will be removed:
