Create advanced find to display prompt and response values from a dialog

Posted on by 655

Hello,

First question: Are dialogs REALLY being deprecated?  Why are the still in Dynamics 365 online?

Second question:  Is there a way to create and advanced find to only Display only the Prompt and Response data from a dialog process?  Yes, i know i can query the  'Process Sessions' entity but it doesn't have the information i need.

    Hi,

for the deprecated part, it's easy to answer.. they are deprecated. Deprecated is not the same as "removed", though. It just means they will be removed in the future release, but they are still there. If you want to keep using them, you can continue to do it at your own risk (since, at some point, you'll have to figure out how to stop doing it)

As for the prompt and response, I don't think you'd have access to that info in the Advanced Find (for what it's worth, I don't think there is an entity that stores that information)
