Client wants to make Your Ref: on the Sales Quote a mandatory field, is there a way to mark this as a Mandatory field? In NAV you can modify the page and set ShowMandatory to true an it would show the asterisk but this is a customisation and doesn't work in BC. Is there a way to use Flows to check that fields have been filled in (I have never used them)?

ShowMandatory property is ACTUALLY not supported and the official reason is that generally the AL Team don't expose properties that would lead to conflicting/undefined behavior in case 2 or more extensions modify the same property.
I agree that it could be supported and it’s on evaluation. For the moment, you can use TESTFIELD or a different trick.

The reason why the ShowMandatory-property is not available through a PageExtension would be interesting.
Yes - I would too, either duplicate the page or utilize the Style-property.
So I would have to duplicate the functionality of the entire Sales Quote page to change a field to ShowMandatory.
