Are powerapps P2 licences a viable alternative to a teams licence?

Posted on by 55

Hi all,

Ive done some invetsigating but not quite found a definitive answer here.

Our licence renewal will be coming up soon and now that a teams licence no longer allows for CRUD on the accounts entity i was wondering whether a powerapps p2 licence would be usable rather than a full customer engagement licence. These users dont need powerapps functionality, just access to basic accounts / contacts / activities in the standard CRM UI. There are customisations / plugins etc that run on these entities so i understand a P2 would be required over a P1.

It seems that a P2 licence only has read on restricted entities but i dont think this would be a problem looking at the list?

many thanks
