Limitations of cancellation of Essentials and Premium licenses

Good day.
If anyone knows what I'm looking for, I'd really appreciate your help.
I happen to want to purchase the DBC Essential or Premium license but I will use it probably only for six months, and I am not sure if Microsoft allows license cancellation at any time or under what situations it is allowed.

I have searched the Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide Mar 22 but the information is not clear or precise in this regard.

I appreciate your help.

    Hi

    What is the purpose of needing license for six months? If it is for test purposes then you have 2X30 days + 30 days (partner extension ) to test. In addition, you can use docker (freddysblog.com/.../)

    Also, you cannot buy license direct from Microsoft and you need to go through reseller (partner).

    The below info is ONLY for SaaS version and I DO NOT know about on-prem

    Based on new NCE if you do not sign up for yearly/triyearly then you pay 20% extra and you can cancel anytime. See the second link for more info.

    You are very welcome

    See below article. You can do 2 X 30 days (total 60 days) trial and your MS partner can add extra 30 days to that.
