Upgraded CRM 2016 to Dynamic 365-now notes doesn't allow input

We recently upgraded our Dynamic CRM 2016 to the new Dynamic 365 on premise product.   Everything works BUT:

The "enter notes here" at the bottom of the screen no longer allows any input.  I've looked at the fields, checked styles etc and no joy so far.

I have a virtual environment (no huge surprise) so on my original CRM 2016 entering notes works fine.

BUT over here it doesn't allow data to be entered

So aside from we can't enter ANY new notes and can see the old ones I'm stumped and have so far failed in any attempts to find Microsoft Support so here I am .    :)

    Please try opening the form editor, deleting the Notes Control, Save, Publish, adding the notes control back in, then Save, and Publish again.

    Tenfold just recently added MS office 365 to their integrations list. Tenfold offers features such as click to dial, automatic call logging, easy note taking and task creation, screen pops on inbound and outbound calls, new lead/contact creation when no matching records, support for cases/opportunities and advanced analytics on the backend. They also support MS Dynamics integration

    Its funny I am an SA customer and for the life of me they hide their support structure so well (I'd open an incident if I could find where to go) that I can't get their help.   Very annoying and the fact that I'm saying it in a forum infers just how annoyed I am.
