Hello All,

I fear I know the answer to this question, but I want to be sure. I want to know if any of the functionality of Azure Data Lake / Common Data Service functionality is available to D365FO OnPrem solutions. If not, I'd like to ask a second question as to what can be harvested from that functionality to aid in either the export of or query of the data entities to a custom data lake for OnPrem customers. What solutions are being built against D365FO OnPrem for data lake solutions?

Hello,

This has been out there a little while and no responses. Thought I might ask a more general question....

For OnPrem D365FO, if the following solutions are off the table for data integration:

- Azure Data Lake / CDS (Cloud)

- BYOD (Only Azure SQL)

- Direct access to D365FO SQL DB

Then what solution is being used by others supporting D365FO OnPrem for ETL and populating a custom Data Warehouse?

- Data Entity full push to file for ETL imports?

- SQL read only replica of OLTP DB for ETL direct access?

Anything else?
