Hi,

Our Sales Team have been instructed to switch confirmed Quotes to 100% Probability to secure Production dates in Planning. The problem is Planning treats 100% as a confirmed order so not only does it secure the Production date it also floods MRP with Purchase demands. These demands have to be ignored until the Quote becomes an order which is then reviewed and finally Works orders are run, at this point Purchase orders can be raised. The Purchasing Team are struggling to work through hundreds of requests to choose what is legitimate and what needs to be ignored.

Is there a way of allowing a Quote to be switched to a Percentage Probability which will secure a Production Date but not create Purchase demands in MRP?
