Attachments After Release

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello:  Is there a way to attach files to a transaction entry screen like Voucher and Adjustment Entry after a Batch has been Released?  On clients SL 2011 SP2, the icon is greyed out.  Tried Initialize Mode to no avail.  Thanks.

Well now, that's a double trick tip.  Thanks.

This worked for me, but I had to be in Initialize Mode in order to access the Attachment option. Notes works without Initialize Mode, though.

Click the Dynamics icon at the upper left corner of the screen, and select 'Attachments' from the menu. In my environment, this is allowed, even though all 'Note' icons are greyed out.

In Voucher and Adjustments screen, this method will attach the upload to the Ref Nbr field, rather than the batch.
