Dynamics 365 Online Portal Upgrade - Cannot Sign On

Posted on by 575

Hi guys

We've just updated our Portal last night and today we've found a heap of replicated content (due to Multi-Language updates I assume) and we've fixed this by deactivating some of the content but we cannot get the Signin page to load and we get the following:

We're sorry, but something went wrong. Error ID # [0426524f-9a28-4400-b0dc-533fa84d6474]

Error ID - 70145b16-f5f8-4686-93b8-9a7eebe81438. The Webpage you are looking for at "/signin" is not found in the English language. To display "Page Not Found" page localize it in English language.

We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly. Thank you for your patience.

Any ideas how we rectify this at all?

The signin page is the standard one (we've not altered this other than the Content Snippets and these have the Content Snippet Language as English) and I'm at a lose as to how to fix it. We've restarted the Portal and that didn't kick it into action.

The installed Portal Language is English as well.

Any suggestions welcomed as always :)

Steven

Have you checked that all content snippets are linked to the correct pages?

Also referring to this blog that shows the places to look at:

Hi Steven, We are experiencing the same issue as yourself.  How were you able to add the new website language as a supported language under website?  We can add a new portal language however we are unable to add it as a website language.

    Thanks

At present I believe I've resolved the issue but not entirely sure why.

The CRM itself has the language setting of English (United Kingdom) so I've added a Portal Language for en-GB (LCID 2057) and I then added this as a Supported Language under Website (but the English UK language has been added as Draft).

All seems well with the portal again and I'll investigate this further but hopefully if others hit this issue then this will give them some idea what to do.

If I discover more I'll report back.
