When Creating a Production Order I receive a message Gen. Prod. Posting Group is required

When trying to output Production we are receiving this error

Gen.Prod.Posting Group Must have a value in the item Journal Line: Journal Template Name=Output, JournalBatch Name =Default, Line No=10000. it cannot be zero or empty. we are also missing the Gen Bus posting group and the Location (we only have one Location)

What am I missing in my setup I looked through my accounts and setups.

Do you have Gen Bus posting group on Item card? it should auto populate from Item card while creating Output Journal.

Yes we have the Gen Bus Posting group on the item card that is what is crazy from every thing i have read it should work but it does not populate.

If you changed the setup of your item after the journal line was created the line will not reflect the latest changes to your item.

So you have to delete the journal line and create it again.
