I need help using Outbound Subscription Page in Real-time marketing - system experience isn't matching learning material

I have tried and tried and googled but I can't find help on this. All the learning material says that to use Outbouns Subscription centres in Real-time marketing I need to set up a new setting under complaince. But I don't have the same view as all the learning material, blogs and even forum responses do. Can you help me identify why?

Note: I have updated the feature switch to switch on the "Configurable compliance settings in email editor". So its not that.

This is my view under Compliance Settings. No option to create "New settings" (pictured below) as everyone else mentions. Please advise!!!!!

I've checked the business units and they are all in the same one. I think it might be time to log a call with Microsoft. Thank you so much for trying to help. At least we have a whole nuch of things we can show MS we did first before this. I appreciate your assistance.

Do you have different business units set up in your environment by any chance? If you only have one, then I am not sure, you might need to contact Microsoft Support! However, if you have multiple Business Units and someone from a different BU set them up, maybe that is causing an issue. You should be able to edit the columns in the view of Compliance records and add in the Business Unit and Owner to confirm.

Yes, I went through the advanced look up, searched, tried all the views... even tried activating the settings. My colleagues did the same. It's very weird.

Hi Carrie. That screenshot just shows recent records. Did you try typing something in to that lookup or just pressing enter?

Thanks Megan, your solution helped alot to some point. We've hit another snag in that we've set up the compliance settings but they aren't showing up when we look for them from the email. So now we are stumped again.

Hi Carrie Garner - I was looking through recent posts in the forum and came across this one that I helped you out with. It's always frustrating when others google and find what they hope might be the answer and then don't actually see it provided, so going to share what I provided to you in an effort to help people!

I had a client with the same issue, and they needed to make a change to their sitemap. Hopefully you have a system administrator who is comfortable with this and can make the adjustments for you!

Open up the sitemap for the Marketing App. This is how the Compliance item is set in my navigation. Notice that the type is a table (entity) and then the table name is Compliance. Then the ID set is ComplianceSubArea3.

Originally this featured used a URL (which is likely how it was when they first released this), and the ID is different. I would suggest changing to match mine above and see if that fixes it. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that there are TWO compliance tables One is called msdynmkt_compliancesettings and one is called msdynmkt_compliancesettings3. You need it to be the second one, msdynmkt_compliancesettings3.
